Our Night Drives into Isimangaliso Wetlands Park offered clients sightings of Leopards this week with Rhinos next to the game drives. As we approach December the whales become more difficult to spot however this time of the year offers clients a new exciting excursion, Turtle tours land based, various operators offer this magnificent excursion to witness either Loggerhead and Leatherback’s nesting. This once a year opportunity takes place from November until the end of March when one has the opportunity to witness the hatchlings.
The safari takes place from St Lucia to Cape Vidal and from their one gets to travel on the beach upto Leven point. This area is a sanctuary and has been the area to witness turtles laying their eggs.
