The travel into South Africa's very first world heritage site (iSimangaliso Wetland Park) and enjoy up-close sightings of Hippos and Crocodiles while out on a Boat Safari. Conclude the days activities with a Night Drive Safari as you go insearch of the Leopard, Elephants,
Buffalo and more that are to be found in the Western Shores of iSimangaliso Wetland Park. All accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis (4 star).

Trip Overview
With a full day's activities ahead we depart early morning 5:00 am to the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve, as we go in search and explore this magnificent reserve. The reserve covers an incredible area of 96000 hectares and is home to the African Big 5, Cheetah, Wild Dogs and many other wildlife species. This half day safari is conducted in a open game drive safari vehicle and breakfast is included (continental breakfast with refreshments). All conservation fees are also included.
Sit back while your personal ranger gets you to the best spots within the reserve. Winding roads, open Savannah grasslands and the most incredible scenery awaits you.
Travel back to St Lucia (transfer included) for some lunch (own account) and then enjoy a Hippo and Croc Boat Safari aboard one of our vessels on the St Lucia Estuary, the largest in South Africa and also home to the largest Hippo population in the country. This 2 hour trip offers you some of the most splendid sightings of Hippos, Crocodiles and an abundance of birdlife along the banks. Our vessels only accommodate 15 passengers and therefore you are assured of superior service and sightings.
No sooner have you finished with your exciting boat cruise and you are off on a extra ordinary Night Drive Safari, no safari to Africa can ever be complete without experiencing this nocturnal affair. Go insearch of the elusive Leopard, Hippos grazing, Buffalo, Elephants, Antelope and Chameleons to mention but just a few of the exciting wildlife species that you could encounter. All conservation fees included.
After a breathtaking and magical days safari we will drop you off at your 4 star accommodation in St Lucia. The following morning enjoy a late sleep followed by some scrumptious breakfast.

“Half day Safari and Boat Safari St Lucia”
We booked the half day safari at Hluhluwe-imfolozi game park and the St. Lucia estuary boat tour as a package. We were picked up by our driver Mbeki at 5am and taken to the game park where we had an awesome game drives with plenty of animal sightings and breakfast in the bush. It was a pleasant experience
Vehicles
All game drive vehicles are Open Game Drive Safari Vehicles, all of the vehicles used are Toyota Land Cruisers or Toyota Hilux as they have proven themselves as the most reliable and comfortable. All vehicles have all of the needed permits and carrier permits as per theSouth African Transport Act. All viewers include hard tops and roll down sides should the weather turn, additional blankets, first aid kits and bottled water are carried by all vehicles.
Vessels
The vessels have both been specifically designed and built to our needs. These include absolute comfort for our passengers, ample space most importantly for for photography. All vessels also boast the shallowest draft of any vessel on the estuary this ensures that we are able to get to all sightings while out on the estuary.
Rangers & Skippers
Your experience is paramount and we no that a safari is a once in a lifetime experience for some. Therefore, We will not only meet your expectations but, exceed them.
All Rangers have years of experience in their respective field, all are qualified field rangers and have professional driving permits (pdp) as per the Roads Act of South Africa. All Skippers are both qualified as skippers and field guide rangers. Their experience on the water will at all times ensure your safety and most importantly incredible information and sightings.
All Rangers and Skippers are also qualified in First Aid.
