The Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve is the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa. This magnificent 96000-hectare reserve is virtually solely responsible for Saving the Rhinos from near extinction in the early 60'. Home the African Big 5 and more you are truly in for an amazing safari.
This would entirely depend on the amount of free time that you would have and also what types of wildlife you would like to possibly witness.
For this purpose, the Full-Day Safari is by far the most popular however it has happened on numerous times that our clients have witnessed the Big 5 on a Half-Day Safari.
Unfortunately no guarantees can be made while in a public game reserve, the wildlife do roam freely.
Self-Drive Safaris are amazing the benefits are that you can do them at your own leisurely time without any other guests. This way you can focus on what it is that you would like to witness.
Please do note that should you opt for this option that you do purchase a map of the park as it is quite large.
Organized Big 5 Safaris are well organized and takes the guesswork out as to where the wildlife could possibly be. These rangers do spend most days in the park and have a good understanding of their movements of them.
