Each chalet features a tented roof with 1-bedroom, and large folding multi-glazed doors leading out to braai area.. There is a conference area located in the center of the camp on a terrace overlooking the Black uMfolozi River. It is owned and operated by the local community and is funded through the Conservation Levy. The camp offers excellent views of the Black uMfolozi River and serves as a base camp for wildlife viewing excursions. The camp also provides cook services for a fee.
Guests staying at this camp could have a close encounter with some of the largest mammals in southern Africa. While the rooms are basic and well-equipped, they have a unique African atmosphere. Most units overlook the wilderness, making for a more authentic African experience. Elephants
The imfolozi region of Hluhluwe iMfolozi Game Reserve has massive herds of buffalo and Elliphants. The buffelo are majestic creatures and maybe one of the most dangerouse animals in Africa, you wouldlent think so. They get very angre when threatened and have huge horns, and they often form circles around young and weak members of the herd.
